I, Neale, was born in South Africa in 1979 during the time my parents were working with the church in Kempton Park. In 1987, we moved to DuPage county, Illinois, southwest of Chicago, where we were involved in local church work and a new church plant. I chose to follow Christ in 1997 through the patient teaching of my parents and the positive friendships made through the Naperville Church of Christ youth group.  Dalissa, whose father is also a preacher, grew up in Western Kentucky and West Tennessee. Dalissa put on Christ in baptism along with her sister in 1998 during her first semester at Freed-Hardeman University.

Dalissa and I met and began dating the following semester. By the summer of 2001 we were married, and by the summer of 2002 we took our first trip to Thailand as part of a short-term mission campaign. Though the experience lasted six short weeks, it left an indelible impression on us, preparing the way for future mission work. Part of our history includes serving the Somprasong 4 Church of Christ for six months in 2006, and again for three years from 2007 until 2010.

We have two children. Eleanor (Ellie) was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 2008, and William (Liam) was born in Searcy, Arkansas in 2011. We happily anticipate the arrival of our third child sometime around Thanksgiving 2013.

Most recently, we have been back in the States since the fall of 2010 when I enrolled at Harding University in their Center for Advanced Ministry Training (CAMT). I completed that program this past December, and I served Harding as the Visiting Missionary in the Spring of 2013. We are now anticipating our return to Thailand and to the people for whom we have such a deep connection. And we also look forward to partnering with and blessing the churches here through our combined efforts in the mission of God.
